we rented a movie the astronaut farmer on 8/4/07 first time we ever used the machine so we were not sure what to do. we swiped the card to many times and now our account is charged for this movie $1.08 on 8/4/07 I returned the movie on 8/5/07 but now there is a charge of $1.08 for 8/6/07 please help.
Just for the info… Gail; if you returned the movie late, then you would have incurred a second bill for the next night’s rental. The return deadline has since been moved to 9:00pm and they only bill once now… SNS
I must say that “Redbox” has not only improved it’s image,but has also ,upgrade their DVD Disks, they did something to them, because they no longer,get stuck, or not work after the movie get’s interesting, which is good news to me because they just added another “RED BOX” two Business’es away from Mcdonald’s at the Valero gas station & I’m an avid movie,popcorn eating, activist…thanks “Redbox”
My husband recently (today)checked out a dvd from redbox.
It doesn’t work. WHat do we do?
I told him to contact you but we didn’t know how to get credit for it and do not want others to suffer when we return it.(they will
check it out and have the same trouble we did.)
Is there anything that can be done?
There should be a return with problems button so that the dvds that don’t work, get some attention.

Call Redbox Customer Service ( 1-866-REDBOX3)and they’ll give you a code valid for another rental.
p.s. This happened to me once. They’ll also flag the defective item and remove it from circulation.

I have just started useing the Red box for the first time and did not receive a D.V.D. I had an Lady help me and she could not get one out either. She tried with her card and went threw just fine so she bought my movie. I got charged but, never received the movie What do I do???

I found out from redbox the other day that your credit card is no charged unless a DVD come out. There is infered lights right where the DVD exit the slot that reads the barcode so if a DVD doesn’t pass that light then you are not charged. Had one that goty stuck the other day so I called redbox and they told me not to worry.
