Redbox Launches Play Pass Loyalty Program

RedBox-LogoRedbox has finally joined the loyalty program game with the launch of its new Play Pass.

After signing up, renters earn 10 points for every rental, and receive a credit good for a one-day movie rental upon reaching 100 points. More details are after the jump.

Other perks of the program include:

  • A free birthday movie night.
  • A free movie night on your Redbox
    Play Pass anniversary.
  • Surprise rewards and exclusives.

      I suppose is a paid rent, whether is full cost or a rent with discount.

      If I rent a disc using a promo code or credit, will I still earn a Redbox Play Pass point for it?

      Yes! You’ll earn 10 points for every disc you rent, even if you rent it for free.

    I think the reward program are a good incentive for Redbox customers. I don’t rent very often as there’s very few new releases I care to watch.
