    Hello Redbox,

I tried to call last night, but was holding for a lengthy time on my cell and using precious minutes, tried again later to only hold again. Therefore, this email, I’ve tried to return dvds at the Norkus Food Town, 150 W End Ct., Long Branch, NJ on two separate occasions to no avail, once on Mon. 7/27/09 and Mon. 8/3/09, both at 8:00 am. The Redbox would not return my dvd, the screen would not change and other time machine said out of order, is there something wrong with that machine on Mondays? I had to return them at another place, after work, which was totally inconvenient for me. Thank you for your help.

Can someone post on here what the plans are for Blackberry, Android, and Windows Mobile, if any at all?

I’ve got “Inside Redbox Mobile Lite”. I’ve had it for awhile and I assume it’s still getting updates so I don’t need the pro version..
    can anyone confirm?
    Thanks!

I just donwloaded the Pro version after already having the Lite edition…and it seems like the only difference is the pro version has a qeue that you can add movies you wanna watch to…I think you might be able to reserve the movies for pickup from your phone also

yes, you can also reserve the movie from your phone, just log into your redbox account and click confirm. the queue list is a bunch of BS, you have to pay a yearly rate to be able to keep a list… dumb feature in a feable attempt to make more money.

I would have loved the Lite version, but it must have disappeared when the Pro version came out. :(

the pro version just keeps crashing out on me. opens to the title screen, then back out to the springboard. i’ve even tried rebooting my phone several times.

If you reserve movies with the pro version, can you use a promo code? or can you only use those at the Kiosk?

Michael, There are 5 seperate posts above asking about the Blackberry and you did not reply to any of them. Of course this means there are no plans to build a version for Blackberry, but it would be nice to hear it from you. PS I too use the Blackberry and would like an APP, but right now using it as a browser for free and surfing redbox.com to locate and reserve movies works just fine.

      John,

I responded once in the forum, but didn’t in other places. If a blackberry app is released, it is certainly down the road. Android would definitely come first if another app was made. Currently, there are no definite plans for another Inside Redbox app. But, we are not ruling anything out.

      Thanks.

“Lite” version is gone from itunes. Program now crashes when I select a movie and try to see if a specific location (using zipcode) has it. Since this seems to be a bug for my version and the company doesn’t plan to update it–guess I’ll have to use safari on my 3GS to go to the website directly to get that information.

A fix for an error in the Lite version is in the works. We pulled it due to the problems some folks like yourself are reporting.

Stay tuned for the update this week.
