And the mighty red machine rolls on. Kiosk operator Redbox has signed an agreement with the unfortunately named convenience store chain Kum & Go, which will add DVD kiosks to more than 281 Kum & Go locations around the country by the end of the year.
Redbox president Mitch Lowe said the following of the new deal:
“Redbox continues to experience strong growth as a result of our ability to deliver convenient and affordable entertainment to consumers while increasing traffic for our retail partners . . . We look forward to our expansion within Kum & Go’s network of busy locations and loyal customers.”
Kyle J. Krause, President and CEO of Kum & Go, was similarly effusive:
“Redbox has made a positive impact on our stores and has been very popular among our customers . . . Consumers trust us to provide value and convenience and the expanded presence of Redbox allows us to continue to deliver on that commitment.”
How many Redbox kiosks do you pass by in a typical day, Insiders? There are least twenty that I can count off the top of my head in my area. How much more room for market saturation remains for the kiosk giant?

I’m not even gonna comment on the name of that store
I am;
HA! Kum & Go, hilarious!
Protip: If you’re going to use it in the name of your store/product, don’t fiddle with the spelling of the word “Come.” You may be better off just not using the word at all.
At first I was thinking the name of the chain was a delayed April Fools joke, but I googled the name and it really is a chain that exists in the Midwest. What were they thinking when they came up with that name???? This goes into the category of one of the biggest bonehead maneuvers of all time.
it may be dirty but it gets people talking all the time…free advertising
can you see simpsons abu sitting there and you walking and he says thank you for coming to kum and go now get your stuff and kindly go and then come again thank you
