You’re kinda picky considering you’re only paying , if even that, don’t you think??????? Businesses have to make money to stay operating, if they stuck to your business model they would all fail within 48 hrs. lol…

It’s also good to go back and watch something you haven’t seen in like forever.I like the variety old and new movies. Some of these new movies coming out I really wouldn’t watch anyway.

Hats off to Redbox for bringing on some of the older movies. We know these movies and its always great to watch them again. Many people (Me) don’t have the luxury of movies on demand so this is a welcome extra that is greatly appreciated. Especially with so many movies out every month that aren’t worth renting at any price. If it weren’t for the special effects most of the movies made today would tank!
Just my 2 cents worth!

I’ve bought a lot of these movies for $3 at Big Lots. Why would I pay $1 to rent them?

This is only for a promotion due to not to many hit movies comming out on dvd also it will not effect the amount of new releases in the machines as these are spread out among kiosks in areas so not ALL of those dvds will be in one machine. 12 titles per machine and not that many copies of each maybe like 1-2 for these.

The lady in front of me said really loud “these are really old movies”. I don’t think people are expecting to see that up front, first thing on the list.

The “Release Date” sorting seems to be by when Redbox sticks them in the box, I don’t think it should be that way but maybe they are only going to do it for a week or two with these few movies.

I am disappointed with the old releases being in REDBOX. I guess the reason is the lack of anything new coming out. Maybe one good new movie a week. They have to fill up the machine. They are all excellent movies but I can see old movies for free on Comcast on Demand. Let’s all hope some of the good movies in theaters now will come to dvd soon

I have most of these older movies in my home collection already. I will be disappointed if Redbox begins to load up their kiosks with older movies rather than new releases. Many of these movies may be decent, but I would not call most of them classics!

I definately will NOT rent these old movies. I have seen all that I care to see. I rely on redbox for new releases every tuesday. They have very limited space and I fear this will take away from already limited copies of good NEW movies. Frequently I find myself checking day after day for a week or more to find a copy of a certain new movie, something you rarely have to deal with at Blockbuster or Hollywood, and I hope this does not make that experience even worse.

I don’t want to see old movies. Redbox has limited space in their kiosk, they should stock more of the new releases, as well as Blue Ray — not old movies.
