Under a new two-year agreement, the financial terms of which were not revealed, Redbox will offer new release Warner DVDs and Blu-rays 28 days after they are available for sale.

Ron Sanders, president of Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution, said the following about the deal:

“Redbox is an important partner . . . And I am very pleased that we have finalized a new agreement.

Mark Horak, president of Redbox and a former executive at Warner, was also excited about the deal and Redbox’s position in the industry:

“Redbox remains committed to driving substantial industry revenue and providing consumers with affordable access to new-release movies,”

Now that Warner and Redbox are friends again, do you think other studios will want to continue their association with Redbox?

Warner Bros has a streaming deal going now. Warner Archives..
But it is old movies & Tv shows. Right now. But they are not renewing all kinds of things with NetFlix.. They will have a Online deal like NetFlix in the years to come. All the Warner Bros TV shows & movies will be on it..
But for now I will keep NetFlix. And my Warner Archives..

And when RedBox get’s things. NetFlix will get it also…
I will just get it from NetFlix in the mail.
I still think RedBox’s days are numbered unless they do something to get more people.
