Redbox seems to think its future is brighter than many industry pundits assume, as it has just added two VP-level executives to its leadership team.

T.J. Moffett will serve as Redbox’s VP of movies, and Bill West will be VP of video games.

Both will report to Mike Saksa, Redbox’s head of content.
Both men have extensive experience in their respective areas of responsibility. Saksa said the following about the two new execs:
“Moffett comes to Redbox with a proven track record in successfully overseeing titles through their entire marketing lifecycle, from theatrical release to home video . . . With our continuing focus on gaming, [West will] work closely with publishers to drive title awareness and trial, while developing our strategy to transition consumers from current to new-generation consoles.”
Does the addition of these two executive demonstrate Redbox’s optimism about its long-term prospects?

I wish RedBox all the luck. But they are in for a long hard road.
Because that’s what most companies need is more VP’s.
Well, let’s hope u can put more then one ps-3 game like call of duty advanced warfare.at redbox site’s, it gets old waiting for a game, & no I don’t need to go to another Redbox. The one I go to is the closest, as I live a distance away.
Certainly experience and expertise is critical, but where strategic vision is everything. Since Redbox’s streaming system flopped, where does it go? Raising prices every few months won’t save it.
Hey, could I be a vice present too? I have lots of experience watching movies. My couch even has a dent from where my butt sits when watching these movies. I’ve logged many hours and I think I’ve invested enough to warrant a VP position.
What do you guys think?
