    I Wished RedBox would give you the option of having the Promo codes emailed or texted. My cell carrier does not offer the text service through RedBox.

    I received my promo code today and I tried to use it but after I put in the code it was “not a recognized code”. I rechecked and that was the correct info I got. I haven’t had a code work yet…don’t get it. What’s the point?

    If you got a code and it didn’t work or didn’t get your code even though your cell phone is registered (like me) , call their customer service number 1-866-REDBOX3 and they will supply you with a working code. Their customer service was very efficient for me.

      I have to second this recommendation…my code(via text message) didn’t work
      either. I called the customer service # on the front of the box and was given a different code…which DID work

    I guess a lot of us didn’t get our “free” code. Being a customer other times of the month doesn’t count, does it? That code should be able to be used anytime for a one time shot. Not just on that Monday when you don’t get it anyway.

    I got my promo code as a text on my phone. That’s the only way they do it.
    Mine worked great! Go to the top of this page and click on codes and make sure and follow ALL the instructions.

    My Monday promo code didn’t work when I tried to use it during lunchtime today – gave me an error saying that it wasn’t available. Just went back to the same store and redbox machine and used the same promo code from today’s Monday promo code text and it worked fine. Appears that there was a system problem at redbox for the Monday code. Never had any problem in the past with the Monday promo code that Redbox texted – this was the first time I’ve encountered this problem. There are a few Redbox locations at grocery stores near me, so it wasn’t a big deal for me to drop by one while I was out. For those that couldn’t get their promo code to work earlier today, just try it again tonight – if it’s convenient for you.

    My code from Redbox worked just fine. Every promo code I have gotten from Redbox has worked. I have not had any problems with getting a code to work.

    Mine and my and husbands worked fine. There was one macine that I had a problem with but it was not the code. When ever I have had a problem with a code or a movie I just call Redbox and they are very nice and they usallly e-mail 1-2 codes that are good for 45 days.

    Seriously people? Even without a code, its only a $1 rental. One dollar! Blockbuster charges $5 now to rent a movie! $1 if you plan on watching it that night, more obviously if you hang onto it… I’ll keep renting from Redbox so I don’t have to go back to $5 per movie at Blockbuster. If Redbox goes out of business, that would stink!
