    We rented 2 movies at a time on Friday and Saturday both and have not rec’d a code for a free rental as of today 4/4/11. I called Redbox and they said it takes at least 72 hours after you rent before you will receive the free code. Here’s hoping.

    I got a promo code for a free movie rental in my email on 04/06/2011. I am assuming that this is for the two movies I rented on Sunday the 3rd. They don’t give you very long before that code expires which is on 04/10/2011. I noticed in the small print at the bottom of the offer that it says to provide an email address at the time of checkout. I assumed that when I ran my credit card that it is associated with the email that they have on file. So I am wondering if some people did not get a code because they did not give their email address at the time of checkout?

    I received an updated email extending the expiration date until 04/15/2011. That sounds much better.

      Please ask the correct site (company) for your free rental. As stated directly below where you wrote your comment it states: “This is an independent website and is not affiliated with Redbox. If you need to contact Redbox, you can call 1-866-REDBOX3 or visit redbox.com.” It still amazes me that people can’t read!
