In our never-ending quest to keep you informed and up-to-date on movie and home entertainment happenings, Inside Redbox regularly takes a look at major films coming out in the near(ish) future that are already generating buzz and anticipation. This time around, we’re spotlighting Prometheus.
Here’s the trailer:
Ridley Scott’s back in the (scary) space that served him so well in his Alien films, and from the looks of this trailer he hasn’t lost a step. Michael Fassbender, who is quickly becoming one of this generation’s most indispensable actors, joins Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce and Charlize Theron in this tale of a space mission gone terribly wrong. A top notch director and an ace cast will certainly help, but will this outer space-based sci-fi film find the audience it needs?
Prometheus flies into theaters this June. Will you be there?
I dunno, looked like Aliens 4, 5, whatever. Did everything have to look like it came from the Alien Garage Sale? He’s so stuck in a rut it has to all be virtually the same? Same curve in a space ship. “Oh, don’t look down into the egg-like thing.” “Oh its in my helmet/face!” Lift off the big square unaerodynamic ship. Any puss/blood dissolve thru the floor? Same old same old. Pity.
It serves like an Alien “Prequel” and that’s the way to hint.
Love it, Ridley is top shelf in my opinion, always enjoyed his Alien movies.
Interested.
this is a prequil to alien, its been done time and time again can’t wait go redley
