Welcome to another edition of Inside Redbox’s Preview Review, where we recap the movies that will be coming out in theaters this weekend. The goal of this feature is to help you make your weekend movie-watching plans, as well as to note movies that you want to Redbox in a few months when they come out on DVD.

One film and one film alone is coming out in wide release this week, but it’s a pretty big one. A preview and the official trailer for The Avengers are after the break.

The Avengers

In what could possibly be the biggest movie opening weekend of all time, the earth’s greatest superheroes assemble in The Avengers. After several years of buildup movies, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, and the rest come together to… fight stuff. The actions, acting and explosions look epic. Will the box office results be similarly superhero-sized?

Hit the comments and let us know if you have an appointment with The Avengers at your local cinema this weekend.

I will pass. And waite until it hits DVD.. I stoped going to the crap show years back.. The price. Out of control people. crap PopCorn, and water Cokes. I set myself up a great Home Theater set up. 55″ wafer thin TV. A good Blu-Ray player. And can watch all I like, what I want. No out of control people. No Crap PopCorn and water Cokes. And No 8-10 bucks to get in. And really, about 90% of the new Movies are crap. Sad but true!

Dano – you say that every time.

The Avengers is one of the remaining 10% of movies that are not crap. It will be worth seeing on the big screen.

I can honestly say that while I have had an occasional minor problem with people talking or kicking chairs during a movie – the vast majority of my experience at movie theaters is positive – the problems have been few and far between.

As to the food, My wife smuggles in the food/drinks with her contraband purse so we drink and eat what we want. No ‘crap’ popcorn or ‘water’ cokes.

The price for the movie is high, but for an occasional blockbuster in IMAX, it is worth it.

Throughout the great pattern of things you actually secure a B- just for effort. Exactly where you lost everybody was first on the details. As they say, details make or break the argument.. And it couldn’t be more true in this article. Having said that, permit me inform you just what did deliver the results. The writing is really persuasive and that is probably why I am taking an effort in order to comment. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Next, although I can notice a leaps in reasoning you make, I am not really convinced of exactly how you appear to connect the points which inturn make your final result. For now I shall yield to your issue but trust in the foreseeable future you actually link the dots much better.
