Welcome to another edition of Inside Redbox’s Preview Review, where we recap the movies that will be coming out in theaters this weekend. The goal of this feature is to help you make your weekend movie-watching plans, as well as to note movies that you want to Redbox in a few months when they come out on DVD.

Three new releases challenge The Avengers for the box office crown this week. Previews and the official trailers for Battleship, The Dictator, and What to Expect When You’re Expecting are after the break.

Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson and Rihanna(!) star in the first movie based on a board game since Clue. I don’t remember any little plastic alien ships coming with my old Battleship game… Rated PG-13.

The Dictator

Sacha Baron Cohen returns to the big screen with a scripted take on his usual “strange foreigner comes to America” schtick.   The usual crude humor and stereotypes mined for jokes will be there. But will the laughs? Rated R.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting

An all-star cast including Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Elizabeth Banks attempts to bring the best-selling book to life on the big screen. Raed PG-13.

What do you say, Insiders? Are any of this week’s new releases worthy of your hard-earned cash?

Maybe The Dictator if the weather’s bad. The other two look like Redbox specials.

Neither of these three look that great, but if I have to make a choice it would have to be Battleship, even if I am not be big fan of Transformers-like CGI-vomit.
