Welcome to another edition of Inside Redbox’s Preview Review, where we recap the movies that will be coming out in theaters this weekend. The goal of this feature is to help you make your weekend movie-watching plans, as well as to note movies that you want to Redbox in a few months when they come out on DVD.

Three movies are coming down the wide release pipeline this weekend. Previews and trailers for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Brave and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World are after the jump.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

America’s greatest president was also a ruthless killer of the undead? Such is the twisted fantasy of  Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Fantasy/horror fans will likely find much to like about this decidedly not historically accurate film. Rated R.

Brave

Pixar is hoping to improve on the lackluster (by its standards) performance of last year’s Cars 2 with its latest offering. Featuring Merida, a Scottish lass with a personality as fiery as her hair, Brave looks like a mix of throwback Disney princesses and fantasy elements with cutting-edge CGI. Pixar may just have a new hit on its hands. Rated PG.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

Quirky is the first word that comes to mind when viewing the trailer for this film. Steve Carell and Keira Knightley seem like an odd match, but with a dark comedy premise like this one, they might just pull it off. Rated R.

Will one or more of the above films pull you into the cineplex this weekend, Insiders?
