The two wide releases coming out this weekend couldn’t be more different: you’ve got a raunchy comedy and a rock musical to choose between. Previews and trailers for That’s My Boy and Rock of Ages are after the jump.
That’s My Boy
Adam Sandler plays a loser father and Andy Samberg plays his estranged son in this raunch-filled comedy. Fans of the schtick of the two SNL alumni will likely find much to like about this film. Rated R.
Rock of Ages
Set to the tunes of Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Poison and many more, this musical tells the tale of the romance between a city boy and a small town girl. If you’ve ever wanted to see Tom Cruise rock out in full heavy metal regalia, you’ve got your chance. Rated PG-13.
