Welcome to another edition of Inside Redbox’s Preview Review, where we recap the movies that will be coming out in theaters this weekend. The goal of this feature is to help you make your weekend movie-watching plans, as well as to note movies that you want to Redbox in a few months when they come out on DVD.
You’ve got a remake and a sequel hitting theaters in wide release this weekend. Previews and trailers for Total Recall and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days are after the break.
Total Recall
Colin Farrell attempts to fill the oversize shoes of Arnold Schwarzenegger in this remake of the sci-fi classic. A high-caliber supporting cast that includes Kate Beckinsale, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy and Jessica Biel backs Farrell up. Can this new version be as much fun as the old one? Rated PG-13
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
In the latest film installment in the series based on the popular children’s books, the Wimpy Kid has to deal with unexpected mayhem in his carefully planned summer. Watch out for hijinks, tomfoolery and maybe even shenanigans. Rated PG.
Will either of this week’s new releases get you out to the theater this weekend, Insiders?
Neither.
Miracle is the BEST movie!!!
The new Total Recall has high caliber supporting cast??? Kate Beckinsale, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy and Jessica Biel I am sorry but I have never, never, never heard of any of them. Are they Americans????
