Oblivion
Tom Cruise attempts to kick off a new sci-fi franchise with a futuristic thriller set on an abandoned Earth. As one of the planet’s few remaining caretakers, Cruise’s character discovers that he’s not so alone after all. Rated PG-13.
Will you be checking out Oblivion in theaters this weekend?
The opening will be boffo box office; but between the mixed reviews and the early release for a summer entry, the take will drop off very quickly.
