Legendary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro has been cooking up something big for next summer. Pacific Rim is being touted as the monster movie to end all monster movies, a cross between Godzilla, Cloverfield, and Super 8. A few “viral video” teaser trailers are being released leading up to the official unveiling of the film. There’s not a ton to see in this quick-cut and jerky teaser, but the scale and tone of the film seem suitably epic for the subject matter.
