In our never-ending quest to keep you informed and up-to-date on movie and home entertainment happenings, Inside Redbox regularly takes a look at major films coming out in the near(ish) future that are already generating buzz and anticipation. This time around, we’re spotlighting the upcoming film Oz the Great and Powerful.

Here’s the brand new trailer:

James Franco stars as the titular character in this Sam Raimi-directed tale of the origins of “The Wizard” of Oz. There’s a definite Tim Burton-esque feel going on here, and while the trailer doesn’t reveal too much about the plot, it looks to be a visually stunning film. Does Disney have another big hit on their hands?

Oz the Great and Powerful soars into theaters next March. Will you be there?

James Franco as Oz gives me hope this may be good and worth seeing. Hopefully Sam Raimi will do his own work and not try to be Burton (or be forced to be Burton). So far, so good.

I’ll probably wait until home video, but I’m willing to give it a chance. It looked interesting, but nothing really made me smile or watch in wonder or feel astonished — a sensation I still get with the 1939 classic. (Clever how Raimi pays homage to the better known movie by shooting reality in black and white, and the Oz sequences in color).

To start with, forgive me for pushing this particular thread astray, however my daughter’s computer is definitely packed with trojans, and I am extraordinarily leary permitting merely anyone into our private matters.I got cheated by a company in the past and am shopping for one I am able to depend on.I happened upon this local company which has outstanding write-ups.I was questioning if someone heard of them or possibly worked with them before ?
