download (1)Is this Netflix’s world and we’re all just living in it? The online streaming giant is not only holding on to its lead in the increasingly crowded VOD world, but it’s actually increasing its advantage over its competitors.

According to research firm Sandvine, Netflix has grown its downstream bandwidth market share by 2 percent since the second half of 2014 and now commands nearly 37 percent of the market. No other competitor, including YouTube, is even close.

    I have NetFlix’s It’s great.
But this streaming deal could come to a fast stop.
How. If the People/Co that gives you your net.
Starts putting Caps on your Net Use.
Comcast is all ready doing it. And it will not be long until other greedy Co’s do it also. Keep in mind just one H/D Movie on NetFlix a day and you will be over your 300 GB limit in less then three weeks. And keep in mind. that is just with NetFlix. When you add the other stuff you do on the net. you will be over in about 10-12 days. If you have a Family of 4,5. You will be over in no time..
Just a thought…I hope it does not happen. But knowing the greedy Co’s. They will do all they can to shaft you…

No doubt streaming is the future, and no doubt as well data prices will be going up as more people switch from cable and satellite to streaming, but will gov. watchdogs keep over charging in check, I doubt it, they themselves would love to take a piece of the action. My cable company is pushing unlimited internet, even offer high speed with basic digital channels inluded, so I believe this will be the trend along with WiFi hotspot access, so time will tell, but streaming is the future and Netflix knows it.
