"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" happens to be my all-time favorite movie, and this doesn't compare. This movie lacks charm, for start. Bruce Willis does a Great job in this flick, however not enough to give this a Great rating. This is a dark film, something a Goth lover would like, but not so much for me.
Anyone who has seen the classic "Ferris Buellers Day Off"
will want to see this film;
though,
quite a bit more raunchy,
the one-liners are very funny (especially those by Bruce Willis)!
I found myself smiling through the whole film.
Well worth the rental
even if you only want to see the very beautiful Mischa Barton's
boobs in the bathtub scene!
The screenplay is excellently written!
And even though the distributor of the film went bankrupt,
its outstanding reviews at Sundance and Caanes brought it forth
to the wide screen...for public release.
And for the music;
the one ping-pong table scene that had me cracking up
was done by "Goldfrapp"; song: Oh La La.
Critics liked it,but i caught myself looking at the clock to see how much longer till over. Not that it is bad it's just not good.
