Sadie, i totally agree. Being on a fixed income, there are more important things to spend money on than movies (like food, clothes, electric…). I know a movie is only a buck, but those bucks add up. For the cost of four movies a month, I can feed my spouse and my daughter lunch. I enjoy the free movies too. Anyone who says they don’t enjoy the free movie a week, well, they don’t belong on this website.

Didn’t work for me. Usually I get them sent to my phone, but after switching to AT&T, it’s hit or miss whether I actually get them texted to me on Mondays.
I think Sadie meant that she couldn’t afford to go out to see a movie. Tickets can run 9 dollars a person.
Man, no kidding… Even the darn matinees are $6.50 each. Hollywood Video sells a calendar for $1.99 that has 14 “rent one, get one free” coupons but even so, it still costs about $4 for two movies. I’d much rather rent a movie than see one at the theater… and FREE is cheaper than $1. :)
Chas.. you push (Rent with promo code) either at the begginning or as you are checking out. If you rent 1.. and secure it with your credit card.. it is free. If you rent two with the same credit card.. only the first is free. :)

It is nice to see that people still appreciate the small things in life!! I know I do. My husband is grateful that I am that way. I get so excited for “FREE” stuff!! Free is my favorite word. To not pay more …. they have to be returned by 9pm the next day. If you keep them longer, you still get a free day. You just pay for any extra days.

I think they did grow up, they figured out how corrupt and evil the federal reserve system is (not federal and there’s no reserve, money from thin air) then they took that knowledge and used it to their advantage. Screwing everyone over and making a lot of “money” in the process.
