So with these Monday promo codes do i have to return the movie on that same Monday in order for it to be free or can I return it the following day Tuesday and will it still be free?
You get until 9:00 PM on Tuesday to return your movie. You always get until the next day when you rent :^)
I am a new member and tried the code BREAKROOM, which worked (we got “Hancock”, and it was really good. THANKS!), but when I tried to rent with another code (REDBOX) it said I was already a member and to try a different card. Does this mean I have to use a different credit/debit card EVERY time I try to use a code? I looked over the InsideRedbox.com site and couldn’t find this info. Obviously, most people only have one or two cards, so am I missing something? How could this site have any members if you only get to rent a couple movies with the promos. Seems like a waste of peoples time and e-mail space, so I’ve GOT to be missing how this works. Can someone please help me? THANKS, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
You are only able to use the code once per card in most cases. However, you can sign up for a free code every Monday. Just check out the insideredbox website.
I have never had this problem. I use a different code everytime we go and I always use the same card and it always works. Could you have possibly entered it wrong? I would try again and it should work!
The code REDBOX is supposed to be for new members that haven’t used Redbox before. But because you used BREAKROOM first, it registered your card and you’re no longer a new member.. That’s why they asked for another card that you haven’t used..

PROMO CODE DOES NOT WORK AFTER 10 PM PST/11 PM MST/1 AM EST (i.e. MIDNIGHT CST – CENTRAL STANDARD TIME) IN OTHER TIME ZONES?
Has anyone tried using the Monday promo code in any other time zone than Central time zone on a Monday between 10:01-11:59 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time), 11:01-11:59 pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) or between 12:01-12:59 am EST (Eastern Standard Time)? Also, if you happen to be near a Redbox during these times on Monday in any other time zone than Central time zone, I would be grateful if you could try the Monday promo code & report back on this post or future Monday promo code post to let us know whether or not it worked.
What time zone (PST, MST or EST), what store name redbox did you try the Monday promo code on a Monday and did it work? If you tried in the PST time zone, was it between 11:00-11:59pm (before midnight) or between 10:01-10:59pm (before 11pm)?
I tried recently on a Monday at a Savemart redbox before midnight pm in PST and the Monday promo code did not work.
Is this because Redbox is based in Illinois in Central Time Zone so the expiration of the Monday promo code is fixed at midnight CST which is 10pm PST, 11pm MST & 1am EST?

how does this whole thing work? when do i put in the code?
When you get to the Redbox screen there is a target at the lower left of the screen that says “Rent with promotional code”. This is after the main menu that has two targets that say rent a movie or return a movie.
Touch the target and enter the code, it will then tell you if the code is good. I always bring a few codes with me. You can use one code with one credit/debit card.
You will have to enter a good email address for each card, but once you use that card it remembers your email.
So what happened to the idea of sending on demand code lists to an email instead of sms? Alot of folks seemed interested but then didn’t hear anything more about it.
