they must be returned by 9 p.m. the day after you rented them, not 24 hours, for example you could rent a movie at 12:30 am one day and return it at 8:30 pm the net day which would be 44 hours but if you rented at 11:30 pm then had to take them back at 8:30 pm the next day that would only be 21 hours, so its all about when you rent.

You are charged $1 + tax each night you keep the movie; you may rent with a free code on day number one. If you don’t return it within 25 days, you own it for $25 + tax.

These are the rules you are agreeing to when you rent – I’m not sure what recourse you are looking for.

you have to return the movies within 24 hrs right and they may charge you on your credit card and we have no recourse ? just asking I’m a new user and the terms are not clear. Thanks a lot!

Yes you can. You need to log on to redbox.com pick your location and movie and of course pay for it at that time. All you have to do is go to your redbox location and pick it up. We do it all the time.

Hello I just want to thank you red-box for saving me money on movie rentals. I eas a log time block-buster video store memember the prices have just going up,I just rented and old movie and it cost $5.20 i ask the clark it was just $ 4.00 I have to admit I told the clark have you herd of red-box he said yes and I told him you know its only $1.00 per rental he said yes and I canceled my membership. I’m on the promo coad list it works and again thanks.Well my question is I went to bowie md and the red-box dispencer was out side of an Mcdonalds I thought that was cool its like an 24 hour. friends and family have many times wanted to rent movies after 12pm midnight can you think about have some redbox dispencers out side of some of the grocery stores and or mcdonalds for northeren Virginia fairfax,alexandria woodbridge lorton areas it would be great idea. Thanks a loyal member.
