According to a prominent analyst, Netflix will soon have a bigger daily audience than each of the big four (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox) TV networks.

FBR analyst Barton Crockett says that if Netflix were rated by Nielsen the same way the major networks are, it would already be on par with ABC and NBC.
Crockett speculates that since Netflix is currently growing its audience by a rate of about 40 percent per year, it should pass the big four networks sometime next year. Such an eventuality would have been almost unthinkable just a few years ago when Netflix was wallowing in PR woes, but the streaming giant has come back swinging and completely upended the traditional TV model.
Are the networks going to be able to scramble and adjust to this new reality, or are they going to slowly become obsolete just like Blockbuster video and cable TV?

Until they make network like shows I watch I can’t yet picture that. Competition is good.
The networks need to wake up. And take off about 95% of the trash they have on. And start putting something worth watching on.
And the B.S Ads every 5 mins..
I hope NetFlix keeps going just as it is…
It’s apples and oranges. The networks only broadcast one show at a time. How many viewers do you think Netflix would have if the viewer couldn’t choose what they were watching?
