For all you iPhone users out there, our Inside Redbox application is back in the App Store after a brief hiatus of working things out with Redbox and fixing some bugs.

Check out the new versions below, and if you already have it, update it right away to get things working again.

    @Bill You can click on the link to purchase the pro version of the app, and if you already purchased it before, a popup will appear that says the download will be free since you have already purchased it.

    This app is not showing up on the iPhone “App Store” app, plus I purchased the old pro version and I dont think I should have to purchase it again.

      You can click on the link to purchase the pro version of the app, and if you already purchased it before, a popup will appear that says the download will be free since you have already purchased it. Or If you wait, it will probably show up in a couple days on the App Store app. I don’t think it’s immediate…

        Thanks for the info! Just checked the App Store and it was in my “Downloads” section. It was a free upgrade… SWEET! This app is great. I will rent more movies from Redbox now bc I can do it while I am on the run.

    I got the free version right before it and the paid version were pulled. I have been waiting for the day they returned so I could get the paid version which I just downloaded about 5 minutes ago. Thanks for making such an awesome app!

    I had the paid version, and so did my wife, We both downloaded the new one last night and now all we have is an icon. We click on the icon and nothing
    happens. It seems as tho it’s going to load up but it dosen’t.
    Maybe it’s being overloaded with everyone trying to get on at once?

    So I just installed it and it is hanging on the “Updating movies” dialog for like 30 mins now. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

    Any thoughts?

    I had the problem with the free version, but was thinking to buy the pro version so removed the free and bought the pro. Same issue.

    So has anyone noticed any of the options that were in the previous version that are not in the current version? I’m asking because Redbox had the app pulled from the app store. Am am wondering if Redbox would only approve it to be added back to the app store if whatever part they didn’t like about the app was removed. I don’t want to upgrade to the new version until I know that no options were removed.

    I just downloaded the pro app – and I am not getting any movies after the May 12 release date. Anyone else having this problem?

      Brian: Did you install it for the first time, or update the old version?

      Either way, try rebooting your phone and see if that helps. If you did an update, try uninstalling the app from your phone and reinstalling. This is a known bug and is being fixed in an update that should be out very soon.
