Hulu still has its sights dead set on its streaming rival Netflix, and is planning its latest offensive with a new original comedy series slated to launch next year.

The show will join several other original series that will air on Hulu Plus in the near future.
The new show, Deadbeat, is a supernatural comedy that “centers on a hapless but gifted male medium who helps New York’s ghosts settle their unfinished business, internationally.”
Charlotte Koh, head of development at Hulu, said the following about the new show:
“On behalf of the Hulu team, we are very proud to be working with Cody, Brett, Troy and the talented executives of Lionsgate and Plan B on this uniquely funny and imaginative show . . . Deadbeat’ is a welcome addition to our growing slate of smart, distinctive original programming.”

I have Hulu and Netflix. 99% of the time I watch Netflix. Why? Netflix does not have commercials! Both cost about eight bucks. So why does Hulu charge money AND have commercials? If Hulu wants to even think about getting ahead they need to stop commercials!
I have NetFlix.. RedBox and the New W/B’s online deal.. I don’t really see much on HULU …….
