The thing that I have bought myself was an iPhone that I bought for myself. The next thing that I would like to buy would be an IPad or new speakers for my truck

I’d have to say my best buys this year have came from Ebay. Everything I have bought has been new and about 25% of what you could expect to pay at retail. I’ve bought new Etnie and DC skateboarding shoes for around $10.00 -$12.00 with postage included. Two pair of new Levi 514’s for my son cost me $25.00 postage paid…. A new wireless headphone was $16.00 and a 22″ 10 Kt gold chain only cost $48.00. I’ve never been disapointed with a purchase and infact felt very fortunate for being there at the right time for some of them.

My very best buy was Christmas a couple years age for a PS3. Sony was running a promotion for $150 off if you bought it with a new Sony credit card. I’d been eyeing a PS3 all year to be my Christmas gift for myself, but when I saw this deal I absolutely jumped on it! Two year later it’s a gift that keeps on giving.

About 4 years ago at Sams Club, an Epson Movie Mate projector with sub-woofer and screen. It was originally $999 and we bought it but about 2 weeks later realized it was probably more than we could afford, even though I loved it. When we went to take it back they had marked it down (there was only one left besides the one we were returning) to $600. Needless to say we re-bought it and love it. Movie night every Friday on a huge movie like screen, our wall :) Thank you!

A few years ago I needed a new inkjet printer. BestBuy had never let me down before so off I went to our local store. A shipment hadn’t come in and they didn’t have any of the model. I was disappointed and asked for the manager. He offered me the floor model at a great price but I noticed a large ugly scratch and mentioned it. The manage look and said he didn’t want a customer to go away upset. Long story short I got the floor model 80% off. Needless to say I was one happy customer.

My best deal was an entertainment center that I got for free! It was just what I needed for my wife’s TV that she watches while feeding our daughter – when she came home and saw it, she had tears in her eyes and told me how great it looked and how much it meant to her that I did that for her. It was so great!

Was in the market to buy a new tv last February. Was going to get a 50″ plasma but when I walked into best buy they were having a sale. One sales person was displaying a samsung 47″ LED tv to a crowd- sticker said $2500 and once he was done the crowd walked away. I walked up to him and asked why I should get this one, he told me “a little secret” there was only one left in the state (south Dakota) and also mentioned “oh yeah, it’s only $1300 now. Needless to say I’m in love with my new LED tv and so are all my friends! Thank You Best Buy!

The best deal I have ever got would have to be on the used car we bought Oct. of 09. Sticker price was 14,500 on an Hundai Elantra 07 loaded with low, low milage. I half jokingly told my husband that we should offer 9950. After a little push back as we started to walk away. The manager told us he would take the deal. We also got our loan knocked down 1/2 a % by negotiating! I tell my kids….it never hurts to ask!

A few years ago I took my truck in for some work at the local dealership.
while there I entered a contest to win a 300 gift certificate towards future
    work at this very dealership.
it turns out I won it.
and it turns out the work i needed to have done was virtually equal to the amount I won.
so, I basically got the work done for free.
as they let me use the certificate to pay for the work they did.

My girlfriend went to the Gilroy Garlic festival a few years back and had an ok time in the heat and dust but when we were finished we started driving around seeing the sights. We ended up in Seaside and drove past a toyota dealership that had a 2006 Toyota Solara convertible out front.
We drove it, liked it and told them to give us their best deal. We were in a hurry because my girlfriend was hungry. they came in at a reasonable price and we told them to try again because we were paying cash. They came back with their final offer and we had lunch to think it over. We agreed to buy it but when it was time to pay neither of us had the checkbook so they allowed us to drive it home and send them a check within 5 days. Then I asked them to fill up the gas tank and they did. The finance guy showed us the price they paid for the car and it was more than what we were paying. The evidently the car had been on the lot too long and no one drives convertibles in Seaside. To them it was an albatross and we were there to take it off their hands.

When I was 15, my mom surprised me with a great gift. She had won a weekly radio contest where you write in about a specific need for someone else. At the time, I loved to cook. The radio station hooked it up so I could spend a Friday night in the kitchen at an incredibly upscale 5-star restaurant in Dallas just before Christmas. I mean, who gets to do that? It was an amazing night that I’ll never forget. Especially since I ate close to $600 in food and didn’t have to pay for it!

I went into a Best Buy store in Annapolis, Maryland five years ago , and purchased a $5700 Mitsubishi big screen tv that had been dropped on delivery to another customers house. I paid $1,500 for it. I then contacted mitsubishi
which sent me free of charge all the parts I neede to repair the set myself. I later sold it when i moved for more than I paid for it to a neighbor!

Okay here is the deal. Neiman Marcus was having a gift card promo when you spent over $400.00. I went ahead and made a purchase. When I received my gift card for $200.00 I happen to also receive my annual $50 gift card they send out. So now I had $250 to spend. Well I waited to make a purchase and the very next week Neiman Marcus sent me ANOTHER $50 gift card. I was about to get a Juicy Couture handbag AND sweater for FREE! No shipping charges either! I LOVE Neiman Marcus LOL.

Got a flat screen TV on sale, then had a 20% off store coupoun which they allowed to be applied to the set, and then they didn’t have any other models in stock and offered an additional 10% off the floor model.

Still enjoying movies on that big screen.

The best deal I have EVER gotten was at Wal-Mart 2 years ago right around Thanksgiving time. I went in to get my papers and milk and left the family in the car. I always go check out the clearance section and my family had to go to the bathroom. So my hubby comes in and sees me with TWO carts FULL of stuff. I had a gleam in my eye when I said “these are BOTH ours”. They had just marked EVERYTHING down in the clearance section to $1 I got a $98 Pirates of the Carribbean MP3 Player for $1 plus a TON of other stuff. I paid $77 and that included my papers ($6) and my milk ($3). Got home and figured FULL Price for everything and it was almost $1700!!!!!!! Oh yeah!
