Two movies chock-full of computer-generated imagery are hitting the box office this weekend. One is an animated children’s movie (Mr. Peabody and Sherman), and one is a very nearly animated but decidedly not-for-children flick (300: Rise of an Empire).Enter this week’s contest by answering the following question in the comments section and then clicking on the green button below:
What is the WORST CGI you’ve ever seen in a movie?
There are lots of movies and scenes that could be contenders for this dubious honor.

I am not a fan of Wall-E
Wall-e
Sharknado
Definitely Sharknado…
It has to be Sharknado.
MegaShark
I am not a good computer generated movie effects interested person, I thought that X-Men was very good, but unbelievable. And I don’t watch Horror or Devil type Movies, so I guess I did see a few frames of the Mummy, figuring I could handle that as a remake, but no I couldn’t and in less than 5 minutes I asked and received my money, in the form of a credit to not watch it. Sorry, just my viewing interests.
Beast.
A gawd awful squid!
Sharknado bad but funny
The dinosaur stampede in King Kong was ridiculous on so many levels.
I don’t watch a lot of horror/action movies, and I think that’s where you get the most CGI.
Sharknado

Sharknado by far one of the worse
I agree with Sharknado. It’s simply baaaaad
Wall-E
Any SyFy original.
The newer Hulk movies.

Star Trek The Motion Picture
I liked Wall-E and thought it was a cute movie. I haven’t seen all the above mentioned movies, but I thought the Scorpion King’s face looked pretty obviously CG, though I didn’t have a problem with the movie as a whole–just that part.
Try to avoid the bad ones. Haven’t seen Sharknado—why would you spend $1+ on something you already know is bad?!
Any and every movie that does not include a hobbit
I believe the Ang Lee version of The Hulk was pretty much unwatchable. The special effects were not what you would expect from a big budget movie..IMO it was on par with the 70’s TV show 30 years previous.
Might morphin power rangers: The movie.
