Robert De Niro, who knows his way around a mafia movie, is back in theaters this weekend with his latest Cosa Nostra film, The Family. Let’s talk about other gangster flicks that we love! Enter this week’s contest by answering the following question in the comments section below:

What is the best mafia movie of all time?

There are of course the immortal Godfather movies and Goodfellas, but you’ve got a lot of other great choices as well. Don’t forget about Casino, The Departed, Donnie Brasco, The Untouchables, Carlito’s Way, and Training Day.What’s your pick for the best gangster flick?

    There are so many to choose from. My favorite has to be The Untouchables! Robert DeNiro, Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, and a very young Andy Garcia made an incredible cast!!

    The greatest Mafia movie of all time is, of course “The Godfather”, but the 2nd half of the question is my favorite Gangster movie. That falls on “Angels With Dirty Faces” with James Cagney and a younger Humphrey Bogart. Can’t get better than those 2, except if you can throw in Edward G. Robinson.
