In our never-ending quest to keep you informed and up-to-date on movie and home entertainment happenings, Inside Redbox regularly takes a look at major films coming out in the near(ish) future that are already generating buzz and anticipation. This time around, we’re spotlighting the remake of Footloose.

This film follows the same basic plot of the original. A bad boy from the big city moves to a small town where public dancing and other “sins” have been banned. The bad boy falls for the uptight preacher’s non-uptight daughter, with pandemonium and dancing ensuing.

I have a feeling there are going to be two camps on this one: people who feel the original Kevin Bacon film is sacred and should never be touched, and those who are too young/indifferent to care.
