I live in Pennsylvania and our McDonalds do not have Redbox kiosks. Around 6 weeks ago, I contacted the managers of my local McDonalds to suggest Redbox kiosks be put in each McDonalds. I contacted the local managers because all suggestions to McDonalds' headquarters have to go through/be presented to the McDonald's headquarters through the managers, etc. I explained the monetary profit to both McDonalds and Redbox, and the convenience to their customers. They thought it was a great suggestion and said they would present it to headquarters. As of 6 weeks ago, the many Walgreens in my local area also did not have Redbox kiosks. I saw on the Redbox.com site that an establishment/business, or you,a Redbox patron, can email Redbox with suggestion of where you'd like a Redbox kiosk. I emailed Redbox and suggested/explained why the many McDonalds and Walgreens in my local family-oriented and populated area would benefit from having Redbox kiosks. In response from Redbox:... "We have a major marketing relationship with McDonalds and Walgreen. We are installing approximately five hundred kiosks a month. While I do not know if your area is slated for a redbox, I wouldn't be surprised. Also, you may wish to mention your desire to the managers of these local establishments." Sincerely, John...Redbox Customer Service,,,etc.etc.etc . SINCE THEN, several Walgreens within 5-10 miles of me have gotten Redbox kiosks! Things are getting closer!!! Sooooo... if you have absolutely no Redbox kiosks within your local area, bring it to the attention of your local establishments and Redbox!!!
