I want to take full advantage of the rent-for-free codes so I'm wondering if Redbox tracks code-usage by email address or credit card. Does anyone know? Thanks!

its tracked by credit card.... i only use one credit card at a time though... like on free movie monday..
went up at 10am got a free movie on card one... watched it returned it at 4pm.. waited till i got the confirm email saying it was returned
then went up at 5pm and used another credit card
i would never use two credit cards at once

slidecage you must like to waste gasoline and time.
I use 9 credit cards at once within a few minutes on these monthly free movies.

They definitely primarily track code use by credit card.
I have tried to use a different email address for each different card, though. Even if they don't seem to currently track code use via email address, that would be so easy for them to do that they could start at any time.
We have been assured multiple times on this board, by people who claimed to know, that Redbox is going to implement a system which merges code tracking for all a person's credit cards together, to prohibit the jakoblins of the world from using one code to empty the machine. But that hasn't happened yet, anonymous Internet posters are notoriously unreliable, so who knows if it is really true. Certainly if it happens email address as well as billing address for the credit cards could easily be used to do so.

jakoblin.... : ) they put a redbox in at walgreen that is about a block from my house... so i just take my dog for a walk and pick up the movies... i get a movie and he gets to go for a walk more then once that day : )
what happens when 2 or more of those movies dont show up as returned... when you call them up to complain dont you think they will catch you using 9 credit cards.. They could go THOSE FREE CODES ARE ONE PER HOUSEHOLD and then hit you with an 8 buck charge for the other 8 free movies you got...
i dont even think i could even find 9 movies that i would even want for FREE outof the redbox on a monday... Lucky to find 2 a week on tuesday
