I have tried the last few times with completely new codes and my same credit cards and I keep getting "Promo code already used". I tried with the new Monday promo code and a couple different credit cards and it still said the same comment. Anyone else having the same issues?

Yes! Is Redbox Tracking Our Names Against Our Credit Card Numbers?
Lately I've found that when I have a new code and try to use it with my different credit/debit cards, it only lets me use it with some but not all of them. This didn't happen when I first started using redbox several months ago, but I believe they have found a way to track us by our cards, perhaps by registering our name when we swipe the cards.
I take special care to write down every time I use a card with the current code, so when I walk up to a redbox I only have the cards in my hand I haven't used yet for that code. Tonight out of three unused cards only one worked. The others got the message "promo code already used", but I definitely hadn't used the cards. So it must mean used for my name. (?) Tomorrow I'll try those same cards at another machine, just to see. Has this happened to anyone else in the past month or so?
PS: I posted the code tonight that I've been using this past week. It worked for me at HEB, Walgreen's and McDonalds.

Hi Deban22, I'm new to this community and have just received my first free code via email. Tried it at the neighborhood Redbox and it didn't work...Any suggestions on what to do next? Thanks for the tip on trying it at other kiosks....

Sorry I didn't see your post to me until now.
Everything has changed with the codes. Now you can only get one per month on the first Monday, and have to sign up at Redbox.com to get a text message with the code. The code you get texted to you is a one-0time use 0nly for you. Cannot be used by two different people or on more than one credit card.

i wonder if these code problems doesnt have something to do with redbox sending out all of these one time codes yesteday and someone set all codes to one use (even mulit use codes) maybe try again in a few days
