As it stands many people are renting movie after movie for free, thanks to your site. It would certainly seem that either they will have to get more strict (perhaps limiting users to one code per month) or the code promotions will simply disappear.

Having regular renters who NEVER pay anything can’t possibly be great for business, even assuming it adds to word of mouth. I mean, what kind of word of mouth is really necessary anyway, when the box is staring at you on the way out of the supermarket?

Anyhow, thanks again for saving us money!

I’m not sure you need to validate each and every one that is submitted, but filter out the pre-pubescent idiots who need better parental supervision or need at least more constructive things to do with their time.

Thanks for all your work on insideredbox.com. We love the site and haven’t paid for a movie yet! Incidentally, two of the Redboxes were not working this weekend, so I called Redbox to report the problem. I told them that I had tried to use promo codes and they asked me where I had gotten the codes. They said if I got them from a website it was likely that they were not working because they had been deactivating a number of codes that were found on the web. I don’t know if this is going to be an ongoing thing, but I thought I should let you know. I don’t know if you have any way to validate this info or if you can find out if Redbox will start clamping down on the free codes. I hope not, but like Napster, I’m afraid all free things might come to an end. Just an FYI. Keep up the great work!
