We’ll list and dish on the nominees for the major categories after the jump.

As always, there were some obvious picks as well as some major misses this year. Tom Hanks, who gave a riveting performance in Captain Phillips (nominated for best picture), is nowhere to be found on the best actor list. Ditto Emma Thompson, who many thought would receive a nod for her practically perfect performance in Saving Mr. Banks.
