RedBox-Logo2013 looks like it will kick off with a bang for Redbox. The kiosk operator has charged into the holidays with a strong crop of titles, which according to several analysts will bode well for its prospects in early 2013.

B. Riley & Co. analyst Eric Wold says that titles like The Dark Knight Rises at the end of the year and the upcoming availability of releases like Ted, Ice Age 4, and The Bourne Legacy will translate into increased Q1 rentals for Redbox. Said Wold:

“…We believe that a stronger release slate during the last two weeks of December (with two more titles and $550 million in associated box office) will also provide an incremental boost to Q1 rental demand,”

Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter felt the same way, noting that there are some major box office hits coming available at Redbox in recent and coming weeks.

Are there a bunch of titles at Redbox that you’ve had your eye on?

You go to a kiosk location in your area. If you want to look up where in your area to get it whether you choose to go to a kiosk or you make a reservation. Make sure you have an account. Sign into it. Then click on the movie page. From there, go to where it says, “pick a location.” Type in the search engine of the area you are in. And it will give you various places. Find the one that is close to you and look up the movies you want. Either way, you have to walk over to that kiosk to get a movie.
