It is unlikely that Aereo can come back from this. It’s only option is to combine with one of the major cable systems to offer a cheap way to service basic cable subscribers at a discount. It won’t be a big discount, as part of the court’s decision was that Aereo owes retransmition fees and cable franchise fees as they determined that Aereo was a cable service. This is too bad, as Aereo was how I was getting channels thru my Roku. Now I gotta see about getting a HDTV attenna to get them, but I lose the DVR function.
